Members of the Maryland Hispanic Real Estate Industry Association (MHREIA) offer real estate related services for the benefit of Hispanic individuals who own, buy, sell or rent property in Maryland. MHREIA members are dedicated to removing obstacles to homeownership. MHREIA members provide accurate information and professional advice to their clients and customers while treating all persons fairly and equally.
Mission Statement
To increase the rate of informed and qualified Hispanic home owners, buyers, sellers and renters by empowering the Real Estate professionals who serve Hispanic consumers by:
- Developing tools to serve the community
- Educating home buyers, owners, sellers and renters
- Promoting housing opportunities
- Advocating the elimination of predatory lending and similar practices
- Conducting themselves with integrity and the highest professional standards
MHREIA had an exhibit table at the MAR Conference & Tradeshow and raffled off five (5) themed baskets of goodies.

The 5 "themed" baskets were donated by Village Settlements, Inc. The drawing was held on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 4:00pm.
The funds collected will be used to purchase school supplies for needy children and to contribute to the Jackson-Budd family fund, the Extreme Makeover:Home Edition, a Maryland family recipient.
